Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, a legal resident of the United States, and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of another person (such as a spouse or co-borrower), you represent that you have authority to submit their information and consent on their behalf.

2. What EquityEase Is (and Isn't)

EquityEase is a marketing and lead-matching service. We collect information about homeowners interested in refinancing and share it with licensed mortgage professionals so they can prepare personalized refinance options.

EquityEase is not a mortgage lender, mortgage broker, mortgage banker, bank, credit union, or credit-reporting agency. We do not originate, fund, service, approve, or deny loans; we do not set interest rates or fees; and we do not provide legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. All lending decisions are made solely by the independent third-party lenders you choose to work with, subject to their underwriting criteria and applicable law.

3. Your Information & Representations

You represent and warrant that all information you submit is true, accurate, current, and complete, that the phone number and email address belong to you (or that you have authority to use them), and that you have the right to inquire about the property and mortgage referenced in your quiz answers. Submitting false information may result in termination of your access to the Services and referral to law enforcement.

4. Communication Consent

By submitting the refinance quiz, you expressly consent to be contacted by EquityEase and up to three (3) of our licensed mortgage and refinance marketing partners at the phone number and email address you provided, including via autodialed calls, prerecorded or artificial-voice messages, and SMS/text messages, for marketing purposes related to refinance and mortgage products. 5. Estimated Savings

Any monthly-savings range shown to you is a rough estimate generated from the ranges you selected in the quiz. It is for illustration only and is not a quote, pre-approval, or offer of credit. Actual rates, payments, and savings depend on credit history, income verification, property appraisal, loan program, prevailing market rates, and each lender's underwriting standards.

6. No Guarantee of Results

Submitting information through EquityEase does not guarantee that any lender will contact you, that you will qualify for a loan, or that you will receive any particular rate, term, or savings. All lending decisions are made by independent mortgage professionals in their sole discretion.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or third-party information without authorization.
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Services.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Services.
• Copy, resell, or redistribute content or data obtained from the Services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by EquityEase or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for their intended purpose.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EquityEase and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or any interaction with a mortgage professional matched through the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold EquityEase and its affiliates harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or created risk or possible legal exposure for EquityEase.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
